Tourist Visa Instructions - US Passport Holders

Areas of Jurisdiction: Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri and Wisconsin.

INSTRUCTION FOR CHINA TOURIST VISA – FOR U.S. PASSPORT HOLDERS

Please send the following documents:

1. PASSPORT: A valid and signed passport. Your passport must be at least six months valid from date of intended arrival in China and having at least two blank pages left); Amendment pages 22, 23, and 24 are not visa pages.
2. CHINESE APPLICATION FORM: Download, 1 (one) Chinese visa application form, fully complete and signed. Download Form Here
3. PHOTOGRAPHS: 1 (one) recent photograph, 2 inches x 2 inches, passport type.
4. HOTEL OR ACCOMMODATION CONFIRMATION: A copy of the hotel reservation is required. If saying in various hotels, provide a copy of each reservations. Applicants visiting family in China will need to provide a relationship certificate. If you are not staying in a hotel, a letter from an inviting family member or friend is required along with a copy of birth or marriage certificate.
5. FLIGHT ITINERARY: A copy of round-trip ticket or flight itinerary is required.
6. CONSULAR VISA FEE: Please make out a payment of $130 to Consulate of China. (Money Order or Cash or); personal, certified and business/company checks are not accepted. This fee is for U.S. passport holders only. If you do not hold a U.S. passport, please contact us for the appropriate fee.
7. SERVICE FEE: Our service fee is $40 per passport (Cash, Money Order or Certified Check); no personal checks are accepted. Send payment and make payable to: Rita Richter - 3950 N. Lake Shore Dr., Suite #1820D - Chicago, IL 60613.
8. RETURN SHIPPING: You are required to cover the cost of returning your Passport with Visa stamp. Please include postage payment or provide a self-addressed paid envelope for the delivery service desired (FedEx, UPS, DHL, etc). Returning your package via the U.S. Postal Service is not acceptable.
9. PROCESSING TIME: The time for processing a visa is 5 working days. No more express service is available.
